Ganz unwirklich

Wort des Tages/ word of the day nattkvist Bezeichnet den Anfang der Nacht. Die beste Zeit des Tages! Wenn das Kind endlich im Bett ist... Für die Schweden ist es leicht den Nachnamen zu ändern und ich liebäugel jetzt mit "Nattkvist", immerhin der hintere Teil wäre derselbe. Nur meinen Mann konnte ich bisher nicht überzeugen. Marks the beginning of the night, the best time of the day, when the child is finally in bed... For swedes it's pretty easy to get their last name changed. Now I really fancy "Nattkvist", at least the  last part of the name would be the same. But I couldn't convince my husband so far. Too bad.

fühlt es sich an. Herr und Frau H. allein zu Haus, gleich auf dem Weg zum Bahnhof. Wie ging das noch mal, sich schick machen?? Aber dazu später mehr.

Really surreal it feels. Mr and Mrs H. alone at home, soon on their way to the station. Ehm... how was that again with getting dressed nicely?? But I will write more about that later.

Ich komm mit dem Bloggen einfach nicht hinterher, dabei gibt es genug zu erzählen. Für das liebe Goldkind und ihr nächstes Patchworkprojekt habe ich aus meinem beängstigenden Fundus ein Carepaket gepackt, voll mit herbstlichen Stöffchen. Ich hoffe sehr es ist was Brauchbares für dich dabei! :)

I don't manage to blogg about all the things I want to tell you about, though there is so much going on. For the lovely Goldkind I scraped together some fabrics for her next patchwork project. It's filled with lovely fall fabrics and colors. I really hope you find something useable in it! :)

Dafür bekam ich im Gegenzug vor ein paar Tagen ein Paket aus den USA. 

In return I got a package from the US a few days ago.

Goldkind war so lieb mir etwas schicken zu lassen, mit dem ich schon seit Jahren liebäugel: Zauberstempel. Ich wüsste nicht wo man die hier herbekommt, im Laden hab ich das noch nie gesehen. Aber nun bin ich stolze Besitzerin eines Großpacks. Wenn man die Stempel erhitzt, kann man sie in jede erdenkliche Oberfläche drücken und die bildet sich dann auf dem Stempel ab (hier z.B. die Küchenreibe), innehalb von wenigen Sekunden. Damit kann man dann drucken. Und sobald man die Oberfläche wieder erhitzt, zieht sie sich glatt und man kann sich das nächste Muster suchen. Das ist einfach zu cool.

Goldkind let me send something I want to have for years now: magic stamps. I don't have the slightest idea where to get them there, never saw that in any store. But now I proudly own the big pack. When you heat those stamps you can press them into any structured surface and the stamp reproduces it (e.g. the kitchen rasp), within just a few seconds. Then you can print with it. Und as soon as you heat it again it becomes plain and you can search for the next pattern. It's simply too amazing.
